What we do:
(Our Mandate)
  • Solicit nominations for the Businesswoman of the Year (BYA) awards and oversee the selection process.
  • Administer scholarship awards.
     
What we've been up to:
  • We're continuing to refine the nomination and selection process of the BYA awards to streamline the process, to clarify eligibility and selection criteria with transparency for the ultimate success of the award
  • We're launching an online nomination and progressive acceptance process for this year's awards.
  • We’re strengthening our communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • We're awarding scholarship in accordance with our criteria and recognizing the recipients.
  • And, we're having fun getting to know one another as we work on the interesting tasks this committee undertakes!
     
When we meet:
Date: Monthly - typically first Friday of the month
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Location: Tierney Stauffer LLP boardroom - Carling at Kirkwood
