What we do:
(Our Mandate)

The External Communication Committee's mandate is to promote awareness of the WBN in Ottawa, thereby increasing member value, and bringing in new members to our network.
What we've been up to:
  • Presentation table at the Great Boys of Fire event on November 12, 2008
  • Preparing press releases and media kits to promote WBN activities such as the BYA Awards Gala, Jill Brown Golf Tournament, as well as our monthly events with keynote speakers on a variety of business and management topics
  • We are currently preparing for the National Womens Show at Lansdowne in May, 2009
When we meet:
Date: Monthly,  chosen to meet members' schedules
